Hi, and thanks for visiting. The season is HERE, and we're well on our way to getting in riding shape. We still have some new riders joining us, so don't feel that you can't keep the pace. Most of the rides are being forwarded to the group through e-mail, so if you would like to keep up to date, please e-mail me and ask to be added to the distribution list. My e-mail address is at the bottom of the page.
Thanks, How do we go about it?As always, the rides are fun, the beer cold, the friendships lasting, and the traffic - well that really sucks. Several of us have talked about getting some longer rides in earlier this season, and we look forward to having you join us whether riding one of the shorter routes or the longer versions. The current plan is to have 2 starting times for the weekend ride. The first start being an hour or so before the general ride (to wear the big dogs out), and then returning to take a break and take off with the second wave. Let's see how this works. Who are we?This group originally started as a subset of the Charlotte Ski Bees, and we still continue to enjoy a solid affiliation with the group. For the last 10 years we've claimed to be getting in shape for the MS 150, and I'm still thinking we will eventually get in shape. We offer a number of rides in the Charlotte area, and prefer to find an someplace for a beverage and meal after the rides. Yes, we also go on some road trips for those of you who think biking is actually a vacation of sorts. Go ahead punk, make your own day!If you think you may want to join us for a few rides, check out our schedule and the rest of the page. If you are interested - send me an e-mail. I will get back to you.
